PORTSTONE INSTALLATION IS FAST AND EASY

All PortStone products are made with the pattern already laid out in sheets of brick or stone.  Depending on the brick pattern or stone pattern chosen, each sheet will contain from 3 to more than 16 bricks or stones, already laid out, positioned, spaced and sized, in the pattern you choose.  Most PortStone thin brick patterns are "keyed" for easy alignment and installation.  For example, when installing regular brick pavers, the Herringbone pattern can be very difficult to keep straight.  Because regular brick flooring is laid one-brick-at-the-time, great care must be taken to properly space and position each brick.  But with PortStone, our Herringbone pattern comes in sheets of 16 bricks per sheet with each sheet covering approximately 3.75 square feet.  We suggest that you pop some chalk lines on the floor just to help keep things  straight and square, but that should be done regardless of what kind of brick or tile is being laid.

Use PortStone's border stone or brick patterns to accent your floor, patio or pool deck.  Our Soldier Course brick border pattern comes in 36 inch strips for fast and easy installation.  We even make mitered corner pieces to dress up each corner with just the right finishing touch to accent any border application.  A nice look can be achieved by insetting the border 8" to 16" from the edge of the room or patio.  Then use the same brick or stone that is used in the rest of the area to fill in around the edges between the wall and the border.
